What do you think of our information about your new scheme?

We are delighted that 1,028 people took the time to participate in our survey. This helps us to communicate clearly about the new scheme. We would like to tell you more about the results of our survey.

The independent research agency MWM2 also conducted our second survey. We will continue to survey your opinions about our information about your new scheme well so that we can continue to improve it. MWM2 has produced a report on the results of the survey. In the report, they divide the responses among employees, former employees (referred to as ‘sleepers’ in the report), and pensioners.

General conclusion

Approximately three-quarters of you are aware that new pension rules are coming and what this entails. Confidence in Provisum remains high. A large majority find the information we provide understandable, honest, and clear. You would like to know what the new pension scheme will mean for you personally. Will you be better off—or perhaps worse off?

Knowledge, sentiment, and communication

We divided the questions into three topics. What do you know about the new pension rules (knowledge)? What do you think of the new pension rules (sentiment)? And do you understand the information and know where to go with your questions (communication)?

Knowledge

Knowledge about the new pension scheme has increased compared to the previous survey. There is also slightly more understanding of why the pension needs to be reorganized. Around 75% of employees and pensioners have a good or reasonable understanding of what the new pension rules entail. That is a clear increase. Former employees lag slightly behind at 50%.

Sentiment

You are still interested in the new rules, but also still concerned. More people are hopeful, satisfied, or reassured. Most believe that Provisum will ensure a smooth transition to the new pension scheme. Pensioners are more likely to expect their pensions to improve in the future. Although we are also seeing a slight increase in this sentiment among the other groups.

Communication

The vast majority of people have seen information from Provisum about the new pension scheme. You find this information understandable and honest. Clarity of information is increasing. You prefer to receive information about the new pension scheme digitally. 75% of employees and pensioners know where to ask their questions. For pensioners, this has remained the same, but for employees, this is a significant increase (2024: 59%).
